In practice: you register with Born2trade and gain access both to the prediction markets via Match-Trader and CFD trading on MetaTrader 5. Learn more about the broker on born2trade.com.
Once funded, open Match-Trader and go to Predictions at the top of the navigation. Markets are visible immediately.

Learn how prediction market prices work, what drives them, and how trades settle.
Prediction markets are financial services allowing you to trade contracts on real-world events. Each contract is a YES or NO position on whether something will happen — a sports result, an interest rate decision, an election outcome.
Contracts are priced between $0 and $1, reflecting the market's collective probability. Buy YES at $0.35, and you're saying there's a 35% chance the event happens. If it does, your contract settles at $1. If it doesn't, it settles at $0.
Over 10 million traders worldwide are already active in prediction markets.
Each contract trades between $0 and $1. The price reflects the market's current probability estimate — the aggregated signal from every trader buying and selling that contract in real time.
A YES contract priced at $0.65 means traders collectively assign a 65% probability to the event happening. That number shifts continuously. When new information enters — a data release, a news headline, a shift in sentiment — traders react, positions move, and the price updates.
The price is the market's implied probability that the event happens.
If you buy a YES contract at $0.70 and the event resolves as YES, the contract settles at $1.00. Your profit is $0.30 per contract. If it resolves as NO, the contract settles at $0 and you lose $0.70 per contract.
Three things:
In a liquid market, price changes are continuous and small. In a thin market, a single large trade can move the price significantly.
No. Prediction markets are fully funded — you pay upfront for every contract you buy.
There is no leverage, no margin, and no borrowed capital. What you deposit is what you risk. This is fundamentally different from FX or CFD trading, where a small deposit can control a much larger notional position.
The difference is that returns are predetermined. You can't amplify that with leverage, but you also can't lose more than you put in.
No. Your maximum loss on any trade is what you paid for the contracts — nothing beyond that.
Unlike margin trading, there are no borrowed funds, no margin calls, and no scenarios where a losing trade costs more than your initial position.
Events are grouped into categories:
Predictory lists 40+ active markets at any time. New markets are added as major events approach.
Place trades, close positions early, and understand your potential profit and loss.
Three steps:
You can exit any open position before the event resolves — you don't have to wait for the outcome.
Yes. Open your positions list, find the prediction market position, and select Sell. The position closes at the current market price, and the result is credited to your balance immediately — you don't have to wait for the event outcome.
Close early to lock in profit if the price moved your way, or to cut a loss if the probability has shifted against you.
Yes. There is no limit on the number of open prediction market positions. Each position is independent — its outcome, profit, and loss don't affect any other open position.
You can hold positions across different categories at the same time: a sports trade, a macro event, and a crypto level outcome all open simultaneously.
Your profit depends on the price you entered at and the number of contracts you bought.
Example:
The lower the price you enter at, the higher your potential return — lower-probability outcomes cost less. High-conviction trades on likely outcomes cost more but carry less risk.
You can also exit early before settlement and lock in gains if the probability moves your way.
Your maximum loss is your investment — what you paid for the contracts.
Example:
Each contract is priced between $0 and $1. You can start with a small amount and scale from there.
Minimum deposit requirement at Born2trade is $10.
